An teenager from Catersville, Georgia - Chance Werner - decided to enjoy a local passtime, launching themselves off a dock, riding a trolley.

Usually, the trolley is anchored to a pole on the dock. Unfortunately, in this case, Chance thought it would be a good idea to instead use himself as an anchor, tying the trolley by a rope through one of his belt loops.

Physics being what they are, the trolley dragged Chance into 9m of water, where he drowned. He was found the next day, still tied to the trolley.

Guess he really did make Anchor.
