Between 2004 and 2007.

At the U of Idaho, drinking is well known to be a favorite pasttime, particularly in the numerous frat houses. Because Moscow Idaho is a very small town, mopeds are ideal vehicles for college students. During on of the infinte frat parties, two plastered frat boys thought that a game of chicken on mopeds would be an ideal way to prove their manliness. The assumed that mopeds, being smaller and often slower than cars, would not cause any serious damage. As an extra precaution against road rash, they decided the lawn would be a great place to do this. The boys started at opposite ends of the lawn and managed to get up to speeds close to an estimated thirty miles per hour. We will never know if either of them thought about swerving and their reactions were just dulled because of the profuse amount of alchohol in their bloodstream, because they hit eachother head on and both died. I wonder what they told the students' parents.

I attend the UofI and this was a great story when it happened. All the dormies were immensely pleased with the accident.

Without a media reference I will vote PA as you went to the school at the time.

Thanks for another great PA, Amber. If only you could find a reference for this it would make for an excellent DA.
