#1 with a Bullet!

2006 Reader Submission
Pending Acceptance

My Dad likes hunting. So he bought two big white cabinets for shells and reloading them. So he needed to add a powder measure to them. The bolt for the powder measure on the bottom went all the way through the wood. So he takes his motorised hand tool and start cutting through them... After he had already loaded up the shelves. He's spewing out sparks in every direction when he's got primers, shells, and powder right in front of him. My Mom walks right up behind him and says "BOOM!". It takes almost a full minute before he turned off the tool, looked at her and said ", You know, I just thought of that." I laughed.

Thanks, Daniel. The story is short and to the point and funny as well.

Darwin Awards III: Survival of the Fittest

Hardback. 304 pages. Autographed.
$15
The human race's most popular humor series returns with a brand-new collection of macabre mishaps and misadventures. Honoring those who improve our gene pool by inadvertently removing themselves from it, the Darwin Awards III shows once more how uncommon common sense still is.

Salute the sheriff who inadvertently shot himself--twice! Witness the insurance defrauder who amputated his leg with a chainsaw! Heed the story of the farmer who avoided bee stings by sealing his head in a plastic bag! Cringe at the man crushed by a branch he'd just severed... directly over his head!

123 new stories, 18 full-page illustrations, plus discussions of transgenic animals, the origin of life, and more.

Autographed by Author!
