On the 30 nov 2005, a young guy who love car tuning but seem to find the parts and kits too expensive paid is life for this. He apparantly rigged his engine(car was a 95-2000 pontiac sunfire) with a home made propane/ether system built after a blueprint found on the web. He left the shop where he work and something went horribly wrong. His propane and ether tank exploded projecting his car a 100 feet from where he was and killing the driver. A witness said that it was just like in a movie with the big mushroom shaped fire column. This is a true story. Happened at saint-pascal,bas-st-laurent,Quebec. This story made the front and 2nd page of the "Journal de quebec" newspaper on Dec 01 2005.

Thanks, Francois. I like your write-up. We already have this one, but there seems to be additional detail here, so I will pass this on to Darwin...

Darwin Awards III: Survival of the Fittest

Hardback. 304 pages. Autographed.
$15
The human race's most popular humor series returns with a brand-new collection of macabre mishaps and misadventures. Honoring those who improve our gene pool by inadvertently removing themselves from it, the Darwin Awards III shows once more how uncommon common sense still is.

Salute the sheriff who inadvertently shot himself--twice! Witness the insurance defrauder who amputated his leg with a chainsaw! Heed the story of the farmer who avoided bee stings by sealing his head in a plastic bag! Cringe at the man crushed by a branch he'd just severed... directly over his head!

123 new stories, 18 full-page illustrations, plus discussions of transgenic animals, the origin of life, and more.

Autographed by Author!
