Police investigation discovered this unfortunate "accident" was actually not what it seemed. Friends of the two, who were students in the same class but not friends told the real story. Both fancied a female fellow student and after a few drinks during the Mid-Autumn Festival when they had been out partying with different groups,the two encountered each other and words were spoken. The gauntlet was thrown down. They would basicaly have a modern day motor scooter duel (or play chicken) whatever you want to call it--they would drive at each other at high speed and the one who didn't turn away would win the right to pursue the girl.

Obviously both were very keen on her becase neither of them turned away, their scooters collided head on at 50 mph and they both died instantly.

The girl at the center of it all refused to comment apart from to say that she "wasn't interested in either of them."

Yes it is the oldest story in the book. Damn funny, by the way. I like that they had the 'not interested' comment from the girl. Its like the cherry on top of this one.
