Good dog! Anyone who fights pitbulls & then tries to drown the old ones deserves this outcome, I'm not sure about a DA, though.

Definitely Toss: Bystanders Hurt
We rather tend to disapprove of deaths of rescuers, who are for all intents and purposes innocent bystanders.

What a good dog! agree with daniel and charles - sons father a bystander but having a hazardous enclosed space filled with god knows what is a recipe for trajegy however I believe the son deserves a darwin and even though the father was drowned

Definitely Toss: Other
I'm going to have to go with Charles on this one - rescuers dying while trying to aid others are both too common and we've generally regarded them as injured bystanders. In addition, while poetic justice this may be, neither poetic justice nor irony are sufficient for a Darwin Award. And - from my point of view - this is a multiple repeat. I guess that the website database is throwing up again ...
