Too buddies were at there deer lease and were clearing brush around the lake they owned by cachting the brush on fire as they were driving close to the lake's frozen edge. As all people do when they see a frozen lake they drove onto the frozen surface. The ice undernieth the tires started to crack. Luckily the two friends began to notice this before it was too late. They got out of the truck and ran to shore before the truck plunged to the murky depths. This is not the end of the story. One of the friends decides that it would be a good idea if he got his tractor and tried to pull the truck out of the lake. So the friend gets his tractor and drives it out onto the lake and guess what happens, the tractor plunges into the water. this time it sinks very fast. The friend on shore quickly ran over to the hole and pulled his friend out of the rezing water. Now a truck and a tractor are at the bottom of that lake and the driver of the tractor is safe only sufering from extreme coldness while walking back to the cabin because of their lack of vehicles.

Needs a complete rewrite, but perhaps English isn't the submitter's native language.

I agree: it needs a spelling check (hand check: e.g. "too"=>"two") and it needs a reference to make HM, but still worthy of viewing by the slush pile.

would be good for an HM with reference.

Good try, but it needs to be cleaned up- Spellchecker? and maybe re-written to be a bit funnier.

Darwin Awards III: Survival of the Fittest

Hardback. 304 pages. Autographed.
$15
The human race's most popular humor series returns with a brand-new collection of macabre mishaps and misadventures. Honoring those who improve our gene pool by inadvertently removing themselves from it, the Darwin Awards III shows once more how uncommon common sense still is.

Salute the sheriff who inadvertently shot himself--twice! Witness the insurance defrauder who amputated his leg with a chainsaw! Heed the story of the farmer who avoided bee stings by sealing his head in a plastic bag! Cringe at the man crushed by a branch he'd just severed... directly over his head!

123 new stories, 18 full-page illustrations, plus discussions of transgenic animals, the origin of life, and more.
